| 'Effects of Reactive Neuromuscular Training on the Side Bridge Endurance Test: A Pilot Study -Dennis Enix, DC, et. al., Logan College of Chiropractic, USA Purpose The hypothesis tested in the current study was that SpineForce reactive neuromuscular training will increase intrinsic muscle endurance as measured by the McGill Side Bridge Test. Conclusion SpineForce spinal stabilizing muscle exercises aid in the development of muscle tone and endurance important for spinal stability. Adequate strength and endurance of these muscles has been shown (McGill 1999) to be an important element in the prevention and treatment of lower back injury. SpineForce reactive neuromuscular training significantly increased spinal stabilizing muscle endurance, and therefore has the potential to be a useful rehabilitation tool in prevention and treatment of LBP. |
