We got our SpineForce in January 2009. I have been doing rehab in my practice 10 years now, and this is the first time I'm really excited about it. Our patients seem to be bored with going through the mundane routines of our rehab program which included the usual stretches, bands, weight machines and exercise balls. I was looking for something to keep the patients interested and to excite them as well as reignite some excitement in myself. I must say, I found it! SpineForce is it!
We placed the SpineForce in our facility in January and since then it is busy all day long. Patients love the machine as it is both highly impressive and effective. Now, instead of seeing bored looks on patient’s faces and worrying if they will want to skip rehab, I have patients who can't wait to get on the machine and improve their function. Our brand-new facility is state-of-the-art and high-tech in every way, and with the addition of SpineForce, it is a perfect fit for our office technology. Additionally, we utilize VAX-D for spinal decompression and now we added SpineForce for the rehabilitation phase. I can't think of a better combination for spinal pain and rehab than VAX-D followed by SpineForce.
As you know, I'm so excited by this technology that I already ordered my second unit, only six months after ordering the first one, and it will be installed next week. Thanks again for introducing to me to this amazing piece of equipment.

SpineForce has been one of the most profitable additions to my practice. It acts as a high tech virtual trainer and allows us to document results. Patients feel and see a measurable improvement.

This thing is ridiculous! People are freaking out about this phenomenal piece of equipment. I can't get people off of it! It's difficult with time to get everyone on it but in addition to 240 patient visits and a few decompression patients per day we are immediately getting 10-15 visits a day on the machine which is almost the max that I can squeeze in without hiring someone to solely cover my rehab which is most likely what we'll do eventually. Good stuff!
(We wanted to hear more about it so we conducted a short interview!)
Are the 10-15 a day of people getting onto the Spine Force - Rehab only patients, or Chiro patients doing rehab or Spinal Decompression people doing rehab? All of the above. I have had the SpineForce for 2 weeks now. Every day since we got it, I have seen between 10 and 16 people a day on the machine. If I had a staff member solely for this purpose, I could easily get 25-30 people a day on it. The majority of those visits would be patients on a core-strengthening program (I am recommending 20 visits over 12 weeks (2x8, 1x4) and graduating into a maintenance plan of 1-2 x per month) and the rest of the people using the machine would be using the machine for all of its stretching protocols post adjustment if necessary (these are great, quick and easy). What do you charge for a single unit of time (15 minutes?) on the Spine Force? $45.00? Insurance will cover the majority of the care and I think we charge $50 or so. For cash patients we charge $40 (will vary from city to city, but we find this as a fair price in our town where I could imagine in some areas this program being charged double the price that we charge) so the program of 20 visits would run $800 over three months. People will be amazed by the appearance and the function of this machine. I emphasize that there is only a handful in the U.S. You will definitely be able to come up with a plan that you find works best for your practice.
Are you selling Cash Payment packages of sessions on the Spine Force to different Athletes that want to improve their sport performance - ie Golfers, Baseball, football, soccer players, etc? This is part of the plan. I expect to see post-decompression patients, current chiropractic patients, maintenance patients that choose to do a 20 session package of core strengthening while keeping their normal chiropractic schedule whether it is 1,2,3, or 4 x per month, and athletes from outside that strictly want to do the machine alone. You will quickly run out of room on the machine so I would start a waiting list for the program or plan to make room for a second machine. Coupled with SpineMED Decompression, I can't imagine a better option for disc disorders.
What external promotions do you find are working best to bring in new Spine Force patients, Chiro and Decompression patients? So far with SpineForce we have not done any marketing. I am trying to show every patient the machine and giving them a test-drive on it. At that point, they are in pure amazement and will want to do a program on it and will simply tell everyone they know about it! The #1 comment that I here is, "I have never seen anything like this, it's amazing!, how often should I do it?"
Personally, I have been on it every day for 2 weeks now and I have never felt better in regards to strength, coordination, and posture. It works every muscle chain in the body and is so much more than core-strengthening as it seems to improve every motion pattern that exists within our body mechanics. I love it! I just wish I would have gotten it a year ago. Maurice was very patient with us, which I don't understand as I wouldn't be able to handle people's hesitation with this machine as it is truly the best of the best.

I wanted to let you know how much I love my two SpineForce machines. Patients are getting out of pain and feeling better faster than ever. The amazing thing is that when patients would normally be discharged, they don’t want to discontinue their core strengthening. They are asking me if they can continue care. SpineForce is enhancing their athletic performance and improving their quality of life. Patients are seeing a decrease in pain and an increase in comfort within the first 5 sessions. Most patients report physical changes in posture and muscle tone within the first ten visits. I keep both of my SpineForce busy eight hours per day. I have new patient referrals coming in daily just to inquire about the “core strengthening that their friend, neighbor, or co-worker told them about.” SpineForce has allowed me to see a market that has doubled my clinic.

I am impressed with the SpineForce’s ability to strengthen while improving range of motion, balance and proprioception all in one machine. This technology is now a cornerstone of my practice.

With SpineForce we can guarantee the consistency and regularity of our patients strengthening exercises. SpineForce can take a chiropractic business from traditional therapy and evolve it into a more dynamic diagnostic, rehabilitative protocol creating a place for patients to return again and again to see their progress.
Dr. Howard Goodman
This is the only machine to reach those deep spinal muscles that are so important to recovery after spinal decompression therapy. I get better results and make more money adding SpineForce protocols to my Decompression business. We are incorporating Spine and Core strengthening programs in addition to using SpineForce as an adjunct for rehab after Spinal Decompression Therapy. My patients love the interactive nature of the program and the fact that they can track their progress over time. Many patients have told me that the traditional exercise balls and band exercises were boring and mundane. Since I started moving people into SpineForce after the first few sessions of low tech rehab and I have doubled the amount of billings for rehab. Most of my patients were averaging 3 to 4 visits for rehab and then discontinuing. After doing some follow up I realized that the SpineForce is challenging enough and patients have to come to my practice so there in no option for them to try to rehab on their own at their local gym or at home. This ensures that I get paid for them to finish their rehab protocols and that their outcomes are improved through repetition and supervision. We are now developing weight loss programs to add cash protocols with the SpineForce.
